Shellie is a writer and editor living in New Jersey. She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from George Mason University. Her work has been recognized by the Rinehart Nonfiction and the Shelley A. Marshall Fiction Contests. Her work has appeared in Seaside Gothic, Feminine Collective, Literary Mama, Madison Review Extended Cut and elsewhere. She is currently working on a memoir that details her struggle to accept what she could not control following her daughter’s brain tumor diagnosis.
